AN GIANG

An Giang province is famous for its palmyra trees, palm sugar and Khmer pagodas. There are also mountains where the weather is a bit cooler. It's worth a visit if you like to travel off the beaten path.

Chau Doc

Most famous dish of Chau Doc is Bun Ca Chau Doc (Chau Doc Fish noodle soup). You should try it when you come it and then visit some of the mountains around.

Nui Sam

Nui Sam is a mountain close to Chau Doc City. There is a nice pagoda and you can stay on top of the mountain at Nui Sam Lodge.

Nui Cam

Nui Cam is a mountain that you can reach best by cable car. They have rural homestays and coffeeshops there and also a pagoda and a lake.
