More of Asia

The perfect destination for your first (backpacking) trip to Asia should be Thailand. It's a beautiful country with nice people, amazing beaches and delicious food. My favorite city in Asia used to be Bangkok and in some ways it still is, but now, Ho Chi Minh City is even more special to me. 

Malaysia is very different from other countries in South East Asia. I love Kuala Lumpur a lot, it's a great city for shopping and sightseeing.

Everyone has heard of Seoul, but what about Busan? I really like both cities, Korean culture, cosmetic and food. It kinda feels like traveling to the future and it's not as expensive as you might think!

When people go to Cambodia, they think of Angkor Wat first. I've been to Phnom Penh and Siem Reap by bus from Ho Chi Minh City (and back).

But Cambodia is much more than "just" Angkor Wat!

Singapore is even more different. It always reminds me of a Western city with a tropical climate (it can get so hot there). And of course, it's much more expensive there!

Laos is still a developing country getting more popular among tourists.

I went to Luang Prabang, Vang Vieng and Vientiane. In had very special experiences there and it has changed my way of appreciating what I have a lot.

I only went to Bali and Lombok but I want to go to other places in Indonesia. Lombok is more quiet than Bali and better for surfing. My favorite spot on Bali is Nusa Penida!
