THAILAND
Thailand is always a good travel destination - for backpackers, solo-travelers, party people, couples and families. Almost everyone will start their journey in Bangkok. I've been to Bangkok many times already and I really love the city because it has so much to offer.
Bangkok has two airports, BKK and DMK. I can recommend to use DMK when you want to travel within Thailand or Southeast Asia as it's smaller and closer to the city center.

My favorite places in Thailand
1. Chiang Mai
2. Koh Chang

BANGKOK
When I think of Bangkok, I really don't know where to start.
Maybe I start where it all started for me, in September 2019 when I first came to Asia. Bangkok was the first Asian city for me and I still remember how overwhelming it was. The traffic, the heat, the smell.
But somehow I loved it. Little did I know I would come back so many more times.
Bangkok is always the best place to start your journey in Thailand but I really recommend to pend 2 or 3 days in the city as well.
There is so much to see so let me show you where to go!
How to get from the airport to the city center:
When you arrive at Suvarnabuhmi Airport (BKK), you can get a train to Bangkok city which is about 30 km away.
From Don Mueang Airport (DMK) it's easier to go by Grab or taxi.
Where to stay:
It really depends on what you prefer but I would recommend
1. Ari, Chatuchak: for everyone who likes it more quiet, with beautiful coffeeshops and restaurants, closer to DMK
2. Sukhumvit: for everyone who likes to go shopping, closer to BKK
3. Khao San Road: for backpackers and party people

NIGHTMARKETS
Thai night markets are always a wonderful experience.
You can walk around, get food and drinks and do some shopping. I think it's a good way of life to end the day here and you will see many Thai people doing so, too.
My favorite nightmarkets in Bangkok
- The One Ratchada
- Jodd Fairs (currently closed)
- First One Night Market Talat Phlu
