DONG THAP
Dong Thap Province is located in Mekong Delta and famous for its agriculture. Many flowers, vegetables and fruits grow around Sa Dec and Cao Lanh. Dong Thap is also famous for its lotus fields that will bloom between June and November. This is also the rainy season in Mekong Delta. But I think it's always beautiful to look at lotus fields.

You can cross Hau River from Can Tho to Vinh Long Province and drive to Dong Thap. It's a nice drive as you will see lots of green and you don't have to drive on a Highway.
When you go from Co Bach (Can Tho side) to Chom Yen (Vinh Long side) it is also faster than going across Can Tho Bridge (Highway QL1A). And you will pass Con Son Island as well.
It's a ferry for motorbikes and the tickets are cheap. It goes frequently during the day.
