TUY HOA
Tuy Hoa is a coastal city two hours north of Nha Trang. Most of the tourists who go there are Vietnamese so it's a nice experience when you want to travel "off the beaten path".

Tuy Hoa Beach
Tuy Hoa Beach is very quiet during the day as the local people prefer to go there in the late afternoon and evening.

Thanh Nien Park
The city park is very beautiful, especially at night time when the bamboo dragon is light up. It's nice to go for a walk.

Tuy An
Tuy An is located 12 km north of Tuy Hoa. Around Xep Beach (Bai Xep) you can enjoy beautiful views of the sea, especially for sunset. You need to buy a ticket (20k VND) to get into the area.

Ganh Da Dia
Da Dia Reef is famous for its natural basalt rock formations coming from volcanic activities. The entry fee to the area is 40k VND.

Ganh Den
A little walk away from the entrance of Da Dia Reef you'll find a lighthouse and a nice view of Phu Yen's coastline.

Dong Hoa
Dong Hoa is located 20 km south of Tuy Hoa. We went there for a local fisher festival which was very interesting.
Local Fisher Festival
in Dong Hoa
It was a great experience to go to the festival in Dong Hoa. It only takes place once per year and a lot of people came there. We played one game where you get a wooden stick with three lines written on it. Then you need to listen until one of these lines comes up in a song. When you have heard all of your three lines you win,

Coffee & Food
My best recommendation for your stay in Tuy Hoa is a bungalow in Sala Tuy Hoa Beach Hotel. It has a beautiful garden where you can relax under palm trees or you can go to the beach club to have some nice drinks.
In the city of Tuy Hoa you can also find other nice places to eat and drink.

MUI DIEN
Also called Cape Dai Lanh, this is a famous tourist attraction. It's gradually considered to be the second furthest point to the East on the mainland of Vietnamese territory.
We couldn't go there but I hope I get another opportunity to see it.
